While our government tries to convince us that "privatizing" social security is the only solution, I offer this tidbit of information taken from IRS Form 941 instructions:
Social security wage base for 2005. Do not withhold social security tax after an employee reaches $90,000 in social security wages. (There is no limit on the amount of wages subject to Medicare tax.)
If our government would simply abolish this $90,000 cap on withholding social security wages, social security would be FIXED, for ever.
Medicare has no cap, why should social security. Both are equally important systems to ensure a secure nation.
End this injustice that exists solely for the benifet of the rich and wealthy!
